Who is this for?

This Wanderbrief Bootcamp is focused on freelancers and entrepreneurs, that have a skill set in marketing, design, technology or sales and want to transition to a Digital Nomad lifestyle.

We’ve been there. We’ve experienced the ups and downs. It’s a journey. This program will help you make the move to becoming a Digital Nomad faster. We will gear you up to become successful in the world of remote work and travel.

The Location

The Bootcamp takes place at Selina Playa Venao, Panama. This place has a reputation as a “heaven on earth.” Stretches of white sand, candy-colored houses, and a surfer-bohemian vibe make this the perfect setting for seekers of tranquility and bliss. Venao is one of the best places to surf in Panama with waves for every level of skill.

Need a break from the sand? Venture inland for a canopy tour of Cañas in the Azuero peninsula, or head off the coast to explore the Isla Iguana or go fishing off Isla Cañas.

Looking for wellness activities? After a day in the Bootcamp, recharge with a wellness workshop or tropical cocktail at The Playground. Yoga is always a popular activity. Try one of the yoga classes or mindfulness sessions. Whether you want to zipline through the jungle or explore the hidden islands of Venao we’ve got you covered.

A typical Bootcamp day in paradise 🌴

8am: Wake up and smell the coffee. Surf, meditate, hit the yoga mat or move at your own pace.

9am - 10am: Enjoy Selina’s infamous breakfast buffet and fill up on healthy, delicious food with some new friends. Share your expectations for today and set goals together.

10am - 12pm: Let’s get to work. Join a workshop on Personal Branding. We’ll share a unique template on how to build and promote your personal brand. Co-create new ideas in an interactive session. It’s pretty impressive what can happen in a cross-cultural brainstorm in the sun 😉.

12pm - 1pm: Lunch time. Grab some fresh food, a cold drink and chill out in the shade. Make sure to get an ocean view seat to watch those local surfers work their magic on the waves…

1pm - 4pm: We kick off with a ‘live’ remote talk from an HR thought leader in the world of remote working. Get the latest insights on what remote companies look for in a candidate. After the talk we’ll take a deep dive into your personal challenges when applying for remote jobs and share constructive advice to level up your game.

4pm - 7pm: Relax by the pool with a piña colada or book a massage to help your muscles recover from the morning surf. There’s always an adventure around the corner: meet up for beach volleyball, a volunteer activity, or take a field trip inland to explore the unknown.

7pm - 8pm: Dinner with the group. Reflect on the day and crack some jokes with Wanderbriefers from all over the world. If we’re lucky that Spanish dude will prepare some homemade tapas for the group again.

8pm - midnight: Share some cold beers and crazy travel stories together. Or simply gaze at the sky full of stars on Playa Venao. Definitely don’t feel forced to be social (all the time). If you want to read a book or write in your journal in a quiet spot, it’s all good. Most of us will get to bed early, because tomorrow awaits another epic day full of work and play in paradise.

Work hard, play hard
